THE ERA PARTNERS WITH THE ROTARY CLUB TO HELP GUATEMALA RECEIVE TECHNOLOGY

The Electronic Recycling Association was delighted to donate 20 laptops to the Rotary Club of Calgary North. The Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who come together to make positive, lasting change in communities at home and abroad.

This Rotary Club works on a project in Guatemala, located in the village of El Aguacate which is approximately 35 km from the City of Guatemala. There is a primary school within the village which is in need of help and guidance.  The school has a population of over 700 children with no form of technology. They have limited funding and are in need of laptops to help the children connect with the world. We were happy to help this school with a donation of 20 laptops which will be utilized for educational purposes and will help each child reach their full potential, academically and socially.
