ERA AND THE SALVATION ARMY: BELKIN HOUSE

We have been working with BC’s Salvation Army Belkin House for a number of years, providing computer donations for their programs and people accessing them. This snapshot is of a recent recipient. Receiving donated computer equipment means charities can focus spending where it is most needed and where it makes the biggest difference – in program development. And it means recipients can improve their quality of life with access to necessary technology.

Belkin House is a Residential Program Facility in the heart of Vancouver dedicated to “Breaking barriers – transforming lives”. They exist to assist the homeless and those at risk of homelessness to become self-sufficient and independent through the reduction of physical, emotional, social and spiritual barriers. Visit their website for more information or to get involved: http://belkinhouse.ca/

If you have unwanted computer equipment, consider donating it to ERA. You’ll free up useful storage space, and it could make a real difference to someone. If your equipment can’t be reused, we’ll make sure it is recycled responsibly, and regardless of the next step for your equipment we always professionally remove all data, free of charge.
